Sales Tag Change - Omniscient - Feb 14, 2018
Apparently $10 is too low of a price for Bitcoin payments with Coinpayments. So I'm changing the Tags to be $20 and making them expire after 30 days.
All existing tags get the extra 15 days no charge.

Have you thought about just using blockchain's api yourself and avoiding the fee's/min limits?
I feel like coinpayments is starting to take you at the throat a bit more.

I don't understand why you just don't make a blockchain.info wallet that is one of the oldest and safest wallets.
Then when you need to cashout Bitcoin just transfer it all to Coinpayments to avoid all of those fees.

Yes but I can't rely on Bitcoin given the amount of times the unconfirmed transactions have spiked causing high fees and delays in payment.
CP offers me the ability to easily accept multiple cryptos. I'd have to run a bunch of wallets, rely on API's and other complications to accept a handful of payment options.
But I am considering alternatives for BTC though. It's an issue.

Well can't you just edit donations page (even for awards & upgrades) and change the api to blockchain info's for bitcoin only? maybe like if a user selects bitcoin = blockchain else coinpayments.
You can still accept altcoins via coinpayments and have all the bitcoins delivered to your wallet directly.

Duh. How else would that work? But realize I've have to setup a few things on my end to make sure payments received the via API function. How the entire thing operates is more convoluted than you'd think. It all goes to a tunnel VPN first to avoid any exposure of HF IP's even to services like Coinpayments. So it is multiple layers at play. And to set it up isn't simple.
I can do it of course but my time is obviously limited.

This, and I don't see why people really have an issue with CoinPayments, lots of other forums use their API for easy integration with MyBB.
Although my question regarding the minimum of $20; would this affect the 3p1c upgrade or am I misunderstanding something?

Thanks for making this change omni! It was pain in ass paying with BTC just for 10$ when the fees went absolutely crazy over the last past 2months ..

Yeah, I need to probably make more adjustments. Fees are back to normal. I can send now for a quarter or even less. But who knows how long that will last.
