nope. not really. the cryptography is solid. you'll have to try dictionary

zipcrack or zip-crack.py is going to help if you want to use John The Ripper you will need a "helper" to extract the hash I have included a link to the src with John The Ripper JUMBO helper for zip2john. If you want to go crazy then you can inspect the pdf and find the hash that way as well although it maybe more time consuming.

edit: fcrackzip comes on ubuntu took me a minute to find it.
