Is that the guy who bought the anti-AIDS thing and increased the price of it?

Rip Martin. He's actually a pretty chill guy if you just forget about the fact that he capitalised on a medical drug.

"In September 2015, Shkreli received widespread criticism when Turing obtained the manufacturing license for the antiparasitic drug Daraprim and raised its price by a factor of 56 (from US$13.5 to US$750 per pill), leading him to be referred to as "the most hated man in America" and "Pharma Bro"."

Do your research before saying anything about the dude, he didn't raise price for all people.

Nobody said 'all'. You did, however.

You can't call someone out without there being someone to call out. twat.

Price gouging poor people is fine and dandy, but don't do you dare take some money from millionaires and billionaires.

That sucks, I feel bad for him, he seemed like a decent guy but money can make people do stupid things.

The best part is the judge ordered for him to give up the Wu-Tang and The Carter V. I cant wait for these to finally drop!

It's not like this was his first fuck up.

Before he did the price gouge he stole money from his company to pay back investors after he lost their money.

He's actually quite a nice and very smart man.
I didn't expect him to get 7 years, hoped it to be around 4 years.
Better than the 15(?) years they asked for I guess.

He better not drop the soap! Either way I'm sure he will be holding onto someones pocket for his whole sentence.

Like 0.01% of all aids patents used the pill, it was outdated and for very very specific cases. He hiked the price to not go under and gave free pills to those with bad insurance. Also the main pill people use for aids is quite a bit higher in price and millions if people use it.

He's a very misunderstood meme.

Even on this thread of people who act like they're men of culture don't even know the situation and listen to liberal screams.
