Hack Forums Downtime and Fixes
Due to a particular issue with the Hack Forums database after upgrading to MyBB 1.8x, many members found themselves furiously smashing their F5 key for most of Sunday. Omniscient has since resolved the issue and in result has made a series of improvements to Hack Forums.

Omniscient Wrote:Search is vastly improved now and we even have a minimum 3 characters again. I have it set for 500 results which should be fine. More adjustment might be made as we go forward but overall everything is normal again and better than ever.

These Mice are Giving Unique Insights into the Domestication of Some Animals
As some of you may know, domesticated animals exhibit different features to their feral counterparts. We have traditionally associated these features, such as floppy ears on dogs or the curly tails on pigs, with human intervention. However, mice with the signs of domestication have appeared in the wild as well. The traits typically associated with domestication were first discovered by Charles Darwin and were called "domestication syndrome." The emergence of these traits was discovered entirely serendipitously. Brian Hare, with Duke University, was in the field for an unrelated study when he noticed the emergence of these features in his data. >>Source

Exercise in old age Protects Against Immune System Deterioration
Your doctors are always saying how you should be more active; now they will never stop. According to Professor Norman Lazerous who both co-authored and participated in the study "If exercise was a pill, everyone would be taking it. It has wide-ranging benefits for the body, the mind, for our muscles and our immune system." For their study, the scientists took blood samples from cyclists, all over the age of 80, and tested them for their t-cell count. They found that these cyclists had comparable counts to samples taken from 20-year-olds. >>Source

New Type of ice Found in a Diamond
Scientists have found a type of ice not previously known to occur on Earth inside diamonds naturally found deep below the Earth's crust. Ice-VII, as it is commonly known, is almost twice as dense as the ice we all know and love. It also has a slightly different crystalline structure. It makes perfect sense this form of ice was found inside of a diamond, however. There are many phases of ice, such as ice-II and ice-III, which are formed as ice is put under increasing amounts of pressure. This Mod Adds Fortnite's Building Tools to CS:GO
Battle Royal games are so popular that people are starting to create mods in other games to replicate them. Most recently a developer by the name of "Kinsi55" has created a CS:GO mod that allows you to replicate the Fornite video game. Titled, "Go 4 the Kill", the mod allows you to create stairs out of wood logs, just like in the popular Battle Royal game, Fortnite. A video was created showcasing the mod, however, it was very short with a timeframe of 30 seconds. Within the 30 seconds, you saw Kinsi55 creating the stairway to heaven with the wooden logs, but that was about it. Some may look at it as stupid others may like it as a custom game. The mod is not out to the public yet and there is no information on whether or not Kinsi55 will be releasing it, as well as if there are any other features than building stairs. New Call Of Duty For 2018 Is Black Ops 4; Early Release Date Set
Those who continue to support one of the most popular gaming series, Call of Duty, will be pleased to hear that the name of the newest game was announced. Set to be released for this year, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be marching its way to stores near you. The game will be released for the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC. If you hate absolutely hate waiting for games to release you are in for some luck! Instead of November, the game will be released on Oct. 12! No information about the game is public yet. There will be an event hosted this May 17 revealing the game, though. If you are familiar with the Black Ops 2 and 3 logo, then four is no different as it is merely the same, but with an extra tally mark to create the roman numeral four. >>Source

PUBG Changes Coming Soon
A roadmap for the upcoming changes in PUBG was recently released on the official website of the game. Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene, the video game designer for PUBG, states that the developers wish to release a cycle of new updates. The very first release being this month. The goal of these updates is to make the game as fun and enjoyable as it already is, as well as killing those annoying bugs you may have encountered and also by making the game as realistic as possible. One new thing that was shared on the PUBG official website was the announcement of an "Experimental Test Server", similar to the test server that is already in place. This server will allow you to test out the new cycle of what the developers may want to add to the game before doing so. They value your feedback so letting them know how you feel about something is critical to the future development of the game. A second thing that was discussed was the rendering of buildings. PUBG's art team has put together a model of what one house would look like with the new rendering. The before and after pic can be seen here. Those who are willing to test the Experimental Testing Server will have the chance to try out the new 4x4km island map. What makes this map interesting besides the size is how fast-paced the games will now be. The player limit will still be 100 so prepare yourselves when diving onto this island! It sounds like a lot of fun. If you wanna taunt and laugh at your dead enemies you soon can! There will be the implementation of an emote system with a wide variety of emotes to choose from. No information has been shared yet on the matter, but Brendan has mentioned that new game modes will be coming too in the future. If you are tired of driving that ugly old military jeep and using the M16, a new assortment of weapons and vehicles will also be in one of the new cycles that PUBG dishes out. In addition, new attachments too. One final thing for customization on the weapons is weapon skins. There is no public information on this yet, but they will be coming. PUBG's servers will continue to improve with security changes to fight off cheaters. Brendan states, "It is impossible to solve these problems once and for all, but our goal is to continuously improve in this regard. Uma Musume Pretty Derby Anime Premieres on April 1
The upcoming anime Uma Musume Pretty Derby project created by Cygames' have a set premiere date for the first of April. Each and every Friday a new episode will be released at 11 PM JST. On the premiere of the anime on April 1, an hour-long special will be screened featuring two episodes. The anime is based on the Japanese mobile game. Not much information is publicly known about the series, but what is public is that it will be based off a bunch of moe idol girls. However, there is a twist. These girls are actually anthropomorphic horse girls. These girls will participate in horse racing while also blending it with schoolgirl idols. Interesting, right? The trailer for the mobile game is probably the weirdest thing you will watch today, so be warned. >>Source

High School DxD Hero Unveils April 10 Premiere
We know you anime fans are excited about this announcement! The fourth season in the Highschool DxD series will be premiering this April 10. Characters and visual designs have been released and pictures of the characters involved are public. You can see Issei and other characters here. If you were a fan of the previous cast members, then you will also like what you will be seeing April 10 as they the original cast will be making a return. The anime will make its first appearance on the AT-X channel at 11 P.M. JST and then proceed to be shown on the Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Aichi, and BS11 channels. Sound! Euphonium's Liz to Aoitori Trailer Previews Film's Theme Song
If you are into cute girls doing cute things, or better yet cute lesbian girls doing cute things, then you are in for a treat! Sound! Euphonium's trailer was recently released showcasing the theme song of the movie. The film will be in theatres April 21 and members of the original cast such as your favorites like Tomoyo Kurosawa as Kumiko Ōmae and Chika Anzai as Reina Kōsaka will be making their appearances too. The main plot of the story will revolve around two third-year students named Nozomi Kasaki and Mizore Yoroizuka. These two will have to fight their feelings and look past what happens after graduation and let their true emotions out now before it is too late.
