Welcome to Appraisers' Official $500+ Giveaway to the Hack Forums community. Before I begin  with any details as to what this giveaway will require of you, I would like to first off by thanking Divined, our group leader, for giving supporting Hack Forums in many unimaginable ways through the contributions he has made for Omniscient and as well as multiple groups throughout the forum that serve the greater good of the community. Without him, this group would probably be nonexistent. Furthermore, many other great groups would have not existed either. Or this giveaway itself may have not been possible, so I do greatly appreciate his support in this and throughout the forum. I would also like to thank many of the members in Appraisers who are also contributing to this giveaway which allows us to provide a greater amount of upgrades and awards for the community.

In this giveaway, all I simply ask of you is for you to do the following:
  • Wear our group's signature which will be provided below
  • Write a short 1-3 paragraph response as to your thoughts on how Appraisers is as a group, the work that we've done (as a whole or particular members), and what you believe or suggest Appraisers do better in any form or way
  • Then that's it! After you post, we as a group will randomly select the number of winners until there are no more available upgrades & rewards!

Have done the signature :)

The appraisers is an amazing idea for people who don't have the capital to invest into testing products or services,
and gives people the ability to see what the item they are looking into is actually like.
A lot of reviews can be biased towards the product, especially if it's something they want, so having the ability to have someone with no tie-ins to the product review it completely for another users benefit is seriously cool :)

I'll be honest with you here, I'm not the biggest fan of appraisers role at the moment. I, myself was in the reviewer section of Influence a couple of Months ago. It was really fun to investigate, analyze and eventually inspiring others based on my thoughts. I stopped because it began to look like we were reviewing, only to receive a free product. I've had instances where people requested me to bring out an 'honest' review, in other words, a review that they want to hear, not the generic crowd. Of course, I denied but people wanted to take advantage of Influence's reviewers and milk it out.

Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not considering Appraisers to be fraudulent or dishonest. I just think that eventually, the formula runs out like it happened to Influence. Users were beginning to hate on reviews if they were negative as if they wanted to only see good things. On the other hand, how Appraisers handles this is much more advanced then Influence did. I read an article/invite thread in the Group discussion page where people were asked if they would be fine with Leaders to ask for some sort of user verification, that's a nice first protocol. Then there are the advanced and very detailed guides, topics and replies.

I hope to visualize more topics and appraisals from Appraisers soon, with here and there some diversity. Because in the end, it's an open market for everyone to use, but a very close market if you're trying to climb. If the appraisals and product reviews keep being valid and legitimate I'm definitely looking forward to what Appraisers have to offer in the near future.

Well, then that's good to hear, but I hope you also read that I appreciated the detailed instructions and security checks Appraisals are performing, and that it is unlikely it will happen.

I think what the Appraisers do is extremely helpful to the community. Providing insight and opinions on products that are available can save people a lot of money. You also save people time as they don’t have to search around forever to get an estimate or if the product is a good one. I think the services you guys provide are great.

I’ve seen a couple of things by Theocritus around the Secondary Exchange. I have read a couple of his reviews on the Crypto Exchange section as well. Everything provided by you guys is truthful and very well written. Divined is probably one of the biggest people to thank as he does very much not only in this group but many others as well.

I think what you guys are doing is great and helpful to the community there isn’t much that I can say I would want you to change. Everything is honest and time and thought get put into your reviews. Keep up the good work guys!

Thank you for the kind words, We are striving to bring reviews to the public NOT ONLY to stop the surge of shit tier products, but to actually help those vendors who release quality products to grow their customers. It's not fair when people who release high quality products are pushed aside for other products that are complete rips/shit.

We would love to see the market full of HQ products, and an end to scamming and LQ items that do not deliver what they promise.

It seems like the text beneath the signature is not showing up as I would have expected it to show, I will be changing how the signature is done in order to incorporate it into the signature to see if there is a fix for this.

However, the giveaway will continue but I would like to kindly ask all users update their signatures when the update is made.

UPDATE:

It looks like the signatures work as intended but the forum board itself for displaying the signature and text is smaller than I expected which cuts off right at where the text shows. Going to see if there is something we can do to fix that.

The image height (and subsequently width to keep aspect ratio) will need to be made smaller by just a little bit to fit the text into the signature
