Possible to use a laptop as second display? - Recognized - Mar 24, 2018

Is there any software or something that can allow me to use a laptop as a secondary display for my PC? My secondary DVI port is somehow broken, and I need to use two screens today, so don't have time to have it fixed.

Anybody have any ideas?

The only way I could see this working is if you could open up your laptop and sever the screen's connection from the motherboard.

Couldn't you also do whatever you need to do on your laptop? (Assuming your laptop is powerful to hand whatever tasks it may be) and plug your main monitor onto your laptop?

Sadly no, heavy programs at work that my current laptop wouldn't be able to handle. Thanks for the suggestion however.
