My buddy just started streaming after weeks of trying to convince him to he bought a new gaming rig, a mic, and a webcam and has been streaming consistently for about 2 weeks now. He's not actually pro but he's very good at Fortnite and most other games and also happens to be an entertaining person who engages with the chat often.

Your friend isn't great. If you want viewers from skill, hes got a lot of work ahead of him. Viewers from personality though, different story.
