Just a quick heads up that 1000 threads in Junk were deleted and a member post recount was done. I noticed it wasn't accurate and wanted to run it again. So if you're off by a few posts you'll know why.

I know fuck all about how the MyBB backend works, but is there any reason that it doesn't do a recount every time a thread is cleaned out of junk automatically?

I’d like to know this as well, also would it be possible to run a cron job for a re count everyday or would that use to much resources

I use a custom plugin for pruning. In order to expedite the prune and optimize the queries we don't alter the post count during the actual prune. When it's completed I run the AdminCP recount tool.

Yay, still above 5000 :-) That's my only goal in life. Maybe buying ub3r is also a goal, but I've postponed that for a long time now.

How often do you prune accounts with zero posts, and how long must they be inactive before being eligible for a prune?

But MyBB would always run these as scheduled tasks. I think even the default MyBB pruning is also ran as a scheduled task?
