Submit button not working inside template - FaberCastell - Apr 2, 2018

So basically i have a html template, this site ( http://grandetest.com/theme/jobhunt-html/contact.html )

And the problem is, when i add a simple PHP submit form, it just doesn't works. When you click on the button, nothing happens.

If i copy the same code into another standalone file, the form is submitted, but with using on the page of the template, on the click of the button, nothing happens.

I really don't understand why is it so and it's testing my nerves. Any ideas perhaps?

Did you put it in a <form> tag and gave the form the attribute method="post" as well as gave the button the attribute type="submit"?

There is no form attribute. The browser doesn't do anything with a standard button tag.

Also looks like it's made to be sent over a ajax request. You should consider implementing Ajax instead, it's much better looking and it would match the material theme.

This should be the format for it to work. The default method will be GET unless you changed it to POST (method="POST")

Are you sure your file extension is .php? lmao
