Introduction to gambling.
Hello, my name is Vanadium.
Gambling has been a huge part of my life, and through the years, I've been playing and analyzing lots of different casino games.
I've been playing poker at some of the big European casino's, playing everything from high stakes cash games, to mid and high roller tournaments.
My biggest interests is:
- Poker.
- Roulette.
- Blackjack.
- Sports betting.
I will in this guide combine a list of resources, in which you can use to read up on subjects that you find interesting, as well as explain my own thoughts on the different types of gamblers.
Finding your gambling type.
I divide gamblers into three categories.
Note that you often do not stick to only one category, and that these are only guidelines.
The casual gambler
The casual gambler is the chill type of gambler, these gamblers tend to take it easy, and generally does not throw a huge stack at the table at one time.
These gamblers often stick to slots machines, bingo, and lottery games.
They do not like too much adrenaline, but likes the cozy element of gambling and the chance to win a prize.
The predictive gambler
The predictive gambler is the kind of gambler that would like to have an edge in the game, these gamblers do not like randomized outcomes, they play based on the fact that their actions, has a meaning to the outcome of the game.
The predictive gambler is often smart, and has knowledge within their field, they analyze the game and use it as an edge.
These gamblers usually stick to games such as Poker, Backgammon, and Betting.
The impulsive gambler
The impulsive gambler is the type of gambler that's usually playing for the adrenaline, or to make quick cash.
They play purely based on luck, and likes games with a fast and randomized outcome.
This is usually the most DANGEROUS type of gambler, as it's easy to win money, but even easier to lose them.
The impulsive gambler often plays Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Dices etc.
These are just guidelines.
I'm for an example both a predictive gambler, and an impulsive, I love poker and the psychological aspects of the game.
But I really also enjoy adrenaline based games, where I put in huge stacks, and finds out the outcome of my bet within minutes.
Preventing gambling problems.

I do not want to see anyone ruin their life because of it, because it is definitely possible.
