As the title says, I tried to installed an SSL and now I am getting an 404 error on everything but the main page.
Any and all help is welcome.

force ssl by using a plugin or edit your htaccess

Have you gone to Settings and changed the default directory to https instead of http?

Use cloudflare. It will give you Free SSL, without the need to renewal, DDOS Protection and also zero errors.
