Actual Fighter Pilots? - Mr.Miyagi - Apr 25, 2018
I'm sure we are all mostly aware of Nuworld's pathetic incident making a complete ass of himself to the public. It was stolen valor regardless of his sad video explanation.
As someone who's dream has been to fly fighter jets since I was 5 years old, I took great offence to his childish lies.
When I first read the post, before actually analyzing any of the bullshit he smeared on the thread, I was genuinely intrigued to see that there was potentially an actual fighter pilot on the forum.
So I wanted to ask the community, are there any ACTUAL fighter pilots in here that could tell me anything about their experiences?
I have done extensive research into the job obviously, I already know most of the information regarding the selection process and requirements, aircraft requirements, etc.
But I still have many questions and it would be greatly appreciated if any LEGITIMATE and HONEST pilots shared their experiences with me and gave me any advice possible.

Closest member to come to mind is Agony/Ahri but he's only a grunt in the USAF 😏

I highly doubt anyone from here is/was a pilot, if so just a select few. Only 1% of the air force even gets to fly.

Boy did you just call me a grunt? I'll have you know the professional and civilian version of my job is aerospace maintainer. Shit makes me sound like I'm making fat stacks...when I'm not.
Although OP I'm quite the pilot on GTA online and bf4. Feel free to ask this elite pilot about how I land a jet on a tower.

Good like becoming a fighter pilot. You have to go through all the training and then only have teh chance of being selected as a fighter pilot or flying other shit. Thats what kind of turned me off the chair force.

yea actually I have a lot of questions because I'm not excluding commercial flying from my options. Id like to know what id need to get my degree in and what the pay is like.
Also to be honest it sounds dreadfully boring. Although I know my chances of flying fighters is slim but I feel like sitting in an airbus for 8+ hours at a time would be miserable. It's still flying though and that's most important to me so id also like to know how you cope with the boredom

The fun is in the take off and landings, which I've been told are the most dangerous parts of flight. So yeah, just piss around the cabin for the rest of the time and hope no one shoots missiles at you.
