Finding a secret message in pcap - Adam2017 - May 16, 2018
Hi guys I have been given a cap file,we need to find the secret message in the cap file,I have managed to get the key using aircrack-ng but now what?
I went to wireshark opened up preferences > protocols > IEEE 802.11,I entered the encryption key,now it seems that traffic is decrypted I can see the tcp traffic,I followed the tcp stream and no luck I can't find the message I am viewing the file in ascii and nothing
any suggestions,or what I could be doing wrong?
