Hello Hack Forums Family!
No fancy thread design. I just wanted to talk to you guys real quick about our new updated forum. I still have some minor things to fix here and there but the design is almost complete. I do work in IT full time but ezee is a high priority for me, so I am making time.

Background:
For those of you who are familiar with the name ezee this community is based off the large forum ezeegaming.com from 2012-2014. In the short time it had nearly 200k posts. I regret having to close that site due to 2 jobs and college everyday. With that I have committed myself to putting 110% into the new ezee.
About ezee:
ezeeforums.com has been around for a few months now and we are nearing 13k posts. The forum is still finding it's direction but we focus on general topics, tech, gaming, memes, anime, entrepreneur, crypto, and more. The staff and I try to keep the site as laid back as possible. Banning, deleting posts, closing threads is a rare occurrence on ezee. Pretty much anything goes except no hacking discussion, advertising forums, etc.
Features:
We are offering our first group up for sale here. I wanted the first group to go to the most dedicated member so it can be purchased with in forum currency. We also offer awards and custom awards.

Sell graphic design services here

I remember that forum, looks like the dog-eating civilians have stolen the domain. Sorry to see that. Never give up, from my expertise, I would recommend a budget if you wish to create a large community. I have created many successful forums. The goal of a forum admin should be to get SEO, post unique content, get people engaged, have good features, keep it active/running, and make sure there are many backlinks. If you can't do these, you shouldn't be running a forum. You should also have a good niche (look at v3rmillion or HF, they both are the best with their niche). It can't just be 'PetersForum' or it will fail without a budget and the jobs listed above. Another idea that boosts activity is to create a blog!

To be frank, creating forums nowadays has been totally useless until you have a huge budget to create some campaigns, giveaways, and advertisements for your forum.
But actually, your forums looks promising. It's quite maintained. You have created sub-boards which is a lot better for new forums that having a huge list of boards. Good luck with it

You mean ezeegaming.com? Yeah some chinese people took it over while I was in college I guess lol. I did all that with ezeegaming. It was one of the largest forums back in the day. Right now I'm just focusing on creating a good community, a chill place to debate, a place of freedom online, etc. I'm not really trying to beat out all the other forums at this point, but I will say we're not doing too bad.

Looks like a decent forum. I'm not a huge fan of the font. Should maybe look to experiment with it if you get similar feedback :)

I totally understand where you're coming from and I agree with you. However, this forum is actually reuniting a large community from 4-5 years ago. Some have moved on but we still have a close, solid, friendly base built off the old community. This project was really to reunite the old ezee community and go from there. We really haven't tried to market the forum that much so far. I do think the forum has a bright future but that's only due to the dedication of our member base. I do appreciate the feedback as always!

My only feedback is
1. Your forum icons remind me of something I'd see on a gaming forum. If you're not going to completely great towards gaming in the future I'd probably like something else other than those power signs.
2. Just can't like the domain name for some reason... I think you can do better.
Other than that this looks like a really neat site and I'm definitely about to register. Good luck with your forum, and I'll see ya on there!

1. You are right there bro. We used that on the old forum which was a gaming forum. We tried to carry a few things over just to make it feel similar to home for the old members. As we move forward it may be best to change it up like you said.
2. We had to have the word ezee in it. It's a general forum so wasn't sure what else to go with.
I really appreciate that feedback. Brought some things I didn't think about to mind. I do hope to see you soon bro!

Yeah but I still post on a ton of forums, I'm not in it for competition I just enjoy running and posting on them. Anyway, if you can manage to make it look more exciting I'll probably join at some point.
I do like how clean your design works though so, you're on the right track!

Little thing I noticed, you charge $3 a month for the upgrade you offer. I don't agree with that at all, I think you should charge $10 for a permanent upgrade.
Rest of the site looks not bad, hard to make forums these days but I wish you luck!

You had your sites looking good when I looked back in the day. I would like to think we're on track with the design. Still a few tweaks here and there. We have a solid community carried over from the large ezeegaming forum. Feel free to explain the lack of excitement. Not sure what you mean by that. I do appreciate it!

I agree. That may be a better idea. You're right about it being hard to make forums these days. Back in 2012-2014 I had a 200k plus forum. While this forum is growing its not quite at the same pace yet. Either way I appreciate the feedback and I do hope to see you!
