We've been working on a VPN project and are currently within the stage of releasing the beta for testing and would like to extend an invitation to all HF members here who'd like to be interested in trying out WhoamiVPN and giving us feedback on the product. Please note that this is currently within beta, so can expect problems and bugs, but that's why I'm looking to have folks here help us beta test our VPN, so we can correct any bugs or issues for our final release, which will be shortly.
I'd like to add that you'll have the ability test with absolutely no data limits during the beta period so you can use as much as you like, however we'll have limited servers and several countries. Right now we're just trying to find any bugs that might be within the VPN, and that's where you folks come in, as we need as much feedback as possible.
Also we'll be having a FREE version within our final release. There will be no restrictions on data, but it will only be limited number of servers which will be announced within the final release.
VPN Client
Many new features have been developed to ensure the privacy of our users. As we progress with development we look forward to working with you fix add more features, fix any bugs you may find or provide your feedback and experience using our client.
Whoami VPN client includes:
- Bypass restrictive firewall rules with Stunnel
- Bypass mobile data limits and firewalled internet access
- Utilizing of the most secure encryption algorithms for key exchange ECDSA384 / SHA384. This algorithm is also used in Bitcoin and Ethereum which make it highly reputable.
- Adblocker, block advertisement networks without the need to install any sketchy 3rd party plugins for your browser.
- Malware blocker, block unwanted IP addresses/domain names that have proven to be malicious.
- Beacon animation improved.
- Improved quality of the UI components.
- Fixed random disconnects.
- Implemented encryption of all DNS traffic, prevent spying, spoofing and MITM attacks (man-in-the-middle attack)
- DNS logs are removed frequently. No data are collected or distributed from the DNS server.
- Increased the DNS lookup speed.
- Fixed soft reset issue, disconnected after 1 hour.
- Implemented handling for drops, sleeps and other connection issues.
- Switched from AES-128 to AES-256-GCM

Our VPN client does support Microsoft Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10 (requires .net 4.5.2 or later) & Mac OS X versions 10.10 and later.
Once signed into our website, you'll also have the option to download and use our OpenVPN client certificate files within our download page.

Our OSX client is currently under development and we will annouce once it has been released for beta testing. We will be adding the same features from our new Windows client into the new OSX client.

Also, WhoamiVPN does not log. We choose our VPN locations based on government legalisations regarding data rentention laws. We will never host in a country that does this. Our company is registered in a country where privacy is respected by constitutional law. We do not log your data !
