Ever since I updated to windows 10, I've had an enraging issue where Vsync will not turn off, even when disabled in nvidia control panel, in-game, and fullscreen optimisations is switched off. I believe it has something to do with desktop window manager, as I've read forum users' posts about it. I wouldn't really care so much if it didn't cause crippling input delay.

This issue affects gold source games and minecraft (and probably others). Games such as CS:GO and TF2 are not affected at all.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

You can change how vsync works though the nvidia control panel (assuming you have nvidia graphics card, most likely similar if you have an AMD)

I've already done that

I noticed that this only happens in fullscreen. In windowed mode, the games are not affected and vsync isn't enabled.

There's one more thing I would try. I had a similar issue, and Xbox DVR (Yes, on Windows 10) was causing it.
