PC Virgin With $2200 - Millennial - Jun 11, 2018 Can you build me something that will be somewhat future proof? I'm a PC virgin with a budget of around $2200 CAD. I'd like it to be able to run almost anything I can throw at it on max settings, without dropping below 60fps while streaming. I plan on using a 1080p 120/144hz monitor [if] it's in the budget. If not then a 60hz monitor like the one I already have will be fine. Peripherals also need to be included in the price, with the exception of a headset. I already have an Astro headset. Unless space is limited no, if you plan to take full advantage by overclocking it the mini only has a single 8-pin vs the dual 8-pins on the “full length” amp/amp extreme. Spec wise I believe they are the same but the larger cards should have larger coolers and better power delivery so in theory should perform better. Okay. Thanks again. I made some slight changes to the list. My new price is $3000.98 after a $30 rebate. I just altered the first suggested build, and it came out to $3000. I opted for a Ryzen 7 2700X. I opted for a Samsung 970 Evo SSD. I opted for a Seagate Firecude fusion drive. I opted for 16GB of TridentZ RGB memory. And I opted for the liquid cooled Aorus GTX 1080 Ti from Gigabyte. Included in the budget is a Logitech G Pro mouse and keyboard, and the G series speakers and headset. And an additional Asus VP228H monitor.
