Email Delivery Delays? - Linux. - Jun 22, 2018 Anyone else experience email notifications being delayed by nearly days at a time? I keep getting random PM related emails only to read them and find out they're actually messages from a few days ago that I've already responded to. RE: Email Delivery Delays? - Kraith - Jun 22, 2018 Yes I'm having the same issue at the moment. Was wondering about this myself. RE: Email Delivery Delays? - Bear - Jun 22, 2018 Was brought up before, Omni said he will contact the email provider since it seems like a problem from their end. RE: Email Delivery Delays? - JoshAllen - Jun 22, 2018 I've been getting emails roughly 3 days late currently it's been a problem for a while. I hope it gets fixed sometime soon. RE: Email Delivery Delays? - BeltBuckle - Jun 22, 2018 I have been noticing this as well, I only have been noticing this recently though. I still haven't received an email for a PM that I received two days ago :( RE: Email Delivery Delays? - Omniscient - Jun 22, 2018 Sorry, I need to deal with this still. RE: Email Delivery Delays? - Omniscient - Jun 23, 2018 Just took a peek at our email provider and it all appears normal with no queue involved. The delay could potentially be your provider. I suggest you whitelist our email "mailer@"+our domain. I've never had this happen before, it's weird they come in days later. Not spam, not slightly delayed, but large chunks of time difference. Maybe MyBB is queueing? Yeah, there are a lot of people from various providers complaining about this. I get the emails with 3-5 day delay with Gmail even after adding the email as contacts to prevent any spam filter issues, which is annoying so I just blocked the emails altogether. Haven't touched any Gmail settings and I used to get emails within minutes, now it takes multiple days. A PM I got on 6/19 3:05 AM, I got an email notifying me today, 6/23 7:50 AM. I've been using email notifications for a long time and it works wonders when it was within minutes. I hope this can get resolved. Another thing I noticed in your post is you said "mailer@" but I'm getting emails from "DoNotReply@". And when I did a "from:mailer@" search, seems like all those emails were the timely ones. "DoNotReply@" has been delayed for about two months (ballpark estimate). The delay varies and using a PM convo email chain as an example...
