C++ Best Remote Login Method? (SQL, HTTP, SSH, ?) - Meterpreter - Jun 25, 2018 Hi guys I made a program which logs into a remote SQL server. It uses SQL query to search for the input username and password in the users table, if it returns null then cout error, if not continue. All works awesome and was a steep learning curve but the problem is: I've made this program separate to another program which I wanted to join it on with... But the SQL login system utilises MySQL Connector for the latest Visual Studio 2017 and it's only available in 64-bit. So my SQL program is 64-bit, but my other program is 32-bit. If anyone knows a work around for that, that would be great... Otherwise I'm open to other SQL connector libraries that are 32-bit, and suggestions on remote login systems utilising HTTP or SSH. I feel like HTTP would be smarter anyway because I don't want my SQL info (server, user, pass) stored in the program. Perhaps I should utilise a webserver so the user/pass checking is done server-side? Seems smart.. Anyways, all ears for words of wisdom <3 UPDATE Fuck SQL (SIMPLY ADD SQL LIBRARIES AND INCLUDE DIRECTORIES TO THESE AREAS IN VISUAL STUDIO AND YOU'RE GOOD TO GO..... BULLLLSSHHIIIITTTTT). Gimme some different ideas. <3 |
