Being a White Student at a Historically Black College - packofmidgets - Jun 26, 2018 This is a short documentary on a white male in a all black college. video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccZk_e3Tc5s I was thinking while watching this how so many still want to seperate people by race. I feel that is something from the past and should stay in the past. These days should be about bringing people together, to work together and to get along with eachother so we as a species can evolve. What are your thoughts? RE: Being a White Student at a Historically Black College - Classy Barry - Jun 26, 2018 It's a long process but eventually everyone will be seen by everyone equally for sure :) RE: Being a White Student at a Historically Black College - Mr. Corleone - Jun 26, 2018 (Jun 26, 2018 09:46 AM)packofmidgets Wrote: This is a short documentary on a white male in a all black college. We should indeed forget the past and work for equilibrium. I also believe we should evolve everyday and work to be equal. On the smallest scale, we're all frequencies. Every human being is the same. We're connected through the universal mind, so if you're hating someone because of his race you'll eventually get the same frequency of negativity reflected back in your life somehow through anything. I like that response =) RE: Being a White Student at a Historically Black College - Gσđfαtђα - Jun 26, 2018 This whole dispute is constantly re-fired up by the other race and it seems as though it will not die. One day; however, I strongly feel that man will evolve from the need to belittle and then our race can grow in unison. That is... if the sun doesn't blow us all up first. Would agree if there wasn't so many stereotypes that every race likes to pick and choose while shooing away all the bad ones. These stereotypes promote supremacy and in turn disdain for other races. And that goes for every race - examples of these stereotypes include that white people are all beautiful, black people are more physically capable, that Asians are smart. But no one is willing to do away with these stereotypes, and instead (especially in non-whites), they are promoted. Shame. So when someone uses these as a first judgement they end up sticking. I don't think there is any way to truly stop stereotyping since its such an ingrained idea. RE: Being a White Student at a Historically Black College - OnlyAccounts - Jun 26, 2018 Yes I saw it, it really is sad to see how they fight racism with racism, because of story really because humans do not forget everything and unite at least once in life, I think it is asking too much :/ and that teacher is toxic |
