arduino - Desert - Jun 29, 2018

so i saw this WiFi Deauther OLED V1.6 ( Pre-Flashed )
and i did some reading and saw that they made it in arduino how complicated is it to make devices like this i would like some help on this how to get started and stuff thank you.

Oh it's really simple.

An ESP8266 board along with some copy pasta code and powered by a power bank for a phone should do the job.

ESP8266's are awesome, I've got a dozen of them.

Thank you very much how good do these work and what else can you do with these boards?

I mean it is still a micrp crontroller so it's not made for serious data processing but because of the built in wifi chip you can very easily control it's in and output pins from your phone or comput computer or anything. The IO pins, as with all arduinos can control a lot of things, like motors, all kinds of sensors (temperature, illumination, gps, gyro, laser, etc.), and really anything. My desktop, which is one of them desktop you can move up and down, was very easily hooked up to an arduino so I could control it from my computer keyboard instead of having to hold down the switch. The wifi module on the esp8266 can be used for all kinds of wifi stuff. It can host small websites for phising, host fake public wifis for phising, scrape data from internal networks, monitor wifi traffic, etc. Possibilities goes as far as your imagination really. Best part is they cost a couple of dollars each and can be powered by a couple of small batteries which makes them great for black hat project where they have to be left behind, like putting them up on a subway for MITM attacks.

Would it be possible for you to teach me some stuff? with these boards like how hard is it to setup a website for phising or mitm attacks ?

It would not.

It depends on how hard or advanced you want to make it.

Google + trial and error is your friend when learning new things.
