Going on a GAP YEAR. What should I learn about or do to generate income? - Vazku - Jul 15, 2018

Hello all,

I will be out of any form of education until next October. I would like to spend the next 16 months productively.

I would like to spend my time learning something which could help me generate wealth in the future or possibly do something that could have some financial benefit.

Coding is the only idea that has come to mind, but would like to hear the opinion of other people on this site.

Thanks in advance. 🤝

Here's a great thing. Don't take the gap year. Finish your studies and then do whatever you want.

School only trains you to become an employee

work a job and use that $ for courses and investments

Thanks for the advice bro. My biggest worry is that once I've finished uni and stuff, I will have so much financial commitments that I won't have the time to explore and will just have to knuckle down and find a job. That is my biggest worry, not being able to do the things I'd like to do because of financial restraints

hence my first comment sell blow..rich white people will go through it and very safe people to work with..accumulate money for few months moving like ounce of blow a week youll be fine an dhave money to do what you want for vacation and by time u get back for uni after gap year..youll stilll have money and it wont be too hard..theres money there, you understand ?but be careful dude

ps theres insane mammount of money out there outside uni..just look at othre countries and other places and theres opportunity absooutely everywhere you just have to look..so much mmoney in legal industry dont get wrapped up in something illegal for fast money..lots of money over fast money..

You better buckle down and make sure you stick to it.

What happens 99% of the time is you’ll end up having done nothing by October and may not even start school again.

Working for yourself is great, but it takes a great deal of discipline and direction. You won’t have a boss telling you to get off your ass and start studying X thing you chose to focus on.

Don’t listen to most guys on this forum, as they’re pretending to be independent entrepreneur and in realty they’re broke or have a regular day job and have been watching too much inspirational YouTube videos.

It’s not as easy as you think. But if you wanna go for it, just make sure you have realistic views .

A lot can be accomplished in one year and it’s completely possible - but it’s not easy at all.

If you're disciplined enough then a gap year can be fine, but far too often I see people never going back after an entire year off.
