Good TV series without a learning curve? - Grand Pootis - Jul 16, 2018 I'm looking for good TV shows I can watch that don't require a large baseline of character and plot knowledge (something I can watch and enjoy right away. I'm currently homebound on disability insurance and am going insane. Wanted to binge watch something tonight... Examples of shows I like: Black Mirror American Horror Story Weeds Breaking Bad Arrested Development Silicon Valley (before it turned to shit) Archer Family Guy I feel like such a loser but I feel a need to spend hours engrossed in a TV show, thanks RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - luke - Jul 16, 2018 Parks and Recreations maybe? RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - Mr Meeseeks - Jul 16, 2018 If you want something brain dead but enjoyable, I believe that Trailer Park Boys is pretty good RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - Angelus - Jul 16, 2018 I highly recommend Dexter, I'm a massive fan of Breaking Bad and I've got to say I can't even tell which one is my favorite rn lol. Captivating, bizzare, dramatic, the show will keep you on your toes and wanting to see what happens next constantly, good thing the whole series is on Netflix. If you've already watched it then rip my response but I guess this also goes out to anyone looking for a great show to see. RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - Aurora - Jul 16, 2018 As the previous post had mentioned, Dexter. If you're a Breaking Bad fan, you'll definitely like Dexter. Prob the easiest show to get in to that does not take a huge learning curve would be Sesame Street. lol Seriously though if you like weird Sci-fi shit, try Altered Carbon on Netflix. The new lost in space is actually pretty decent too, slowly watching that one too. RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - V3N0M - Jul 17, 2018 By the order of the Peaky focking Blinders. RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - Scooby - Jul 17, 2018 Twilight Zone is always a classic. Someone mentioned Parks and Rec; I second that. If you're in touch with your inner kid then I would suggest Are You Afraid Of The Dark, Goosebumps, etc. Dimension 404 is on Hulu and it's similar to Black Mirror as well. Finally, I'm going to suggest Workaholics. That show has so many golden moments. RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - alastair89 - Jul 29, 2018 Preacher is fun too ;) They are releasing a new episode from season 3 every sunday. It's a little f**k-up but in a very funny way ;) RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - SoccerBet - Jul 29, 2018 U should watch Shameless and I’m about to look Silicon Valley’ so can you tell me when it turns into shit please RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - Shoto - Jul 29, 2018 South park and American Dad? I think haha :p RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - DooOmsDay - Jul 29, 2018 Marvels The Punisher Rick & Morty Stranger Things Big Bang Theory RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - Punisher - Jul 29, 2018 Watch a show called The Mentalist It's about a man who is a con artist who grew up in carnivals who gets targeted by a serial killer, so he joins the FBI/CBI as a "psychic" consultant to track him down. Meanwhile he uses his skills as a con artist and social engineering to solve crimes and get what he wants. There's a slight backstory that connects a few of the episodes together, but it's really enjoyable show to sit back and watch RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - therealziiran - Jul 29, 2018 Southpark is good Also American dad RE: Good TV series without a learning curve? - RyBragger - Jul 30, 2018 Rick & Morty is pretty good.... |
