How to Rip Video contents from Netflix / Hulu like the release groups do? - SuperSuperna - Jul 25, 2018
Hey,
I'd like to "Rip" video content from Netflix / Hulu but never found a good way of doing it.
I found 2 ways:
1) There are programs that records the screen (opens a dedicated explorer window and records it) - Takes tones of time and the quality isn't so good.
2) I can download it to my computer but it's some sort of encrypted file that I never seceded to convert to a watchable video file.
How the Pros do it? How they make the outcome of all the episode in different Resolutions (1080p / 720p / 2160p) that we download from all the torrents sites?

You don't think that the world's biggest streaming site (Netflix) has a shit ton of security to prevent this kind of thing? You probably can not hack it.

I'm sure it's possible, look at all the torrents sites, all the content is there at the torrent sites, even the 2160p.

In theory you could just screen capture the window playing with maximum quality and audio capture settings. This of course, would be copyright infringement.

Well, its definitely not going to work the way you wish. For example, Spotify has three encrypted files per song. So if Spotify is anything like Netflix your going to hit a wall. To be quite honest, its probably just simpler and easier to torrent whatever content you wanted instead of trying to crack Netflix's encryption.
