There's this guy at my school that I had 6/8 classes with last year and he was really negative towards me in all of them. Several times he told me he hopes I go kill myself and that he will make sure I kill myself. I don't understand why at all. Despite his negative comments I was still nice towards him. He seemed to have just whimsically decided that he just hates me and tells me this all the time. I found out I will have even more classes with him this upcoming year and I am planning on telling the school administration about last year. (I understand all the people who think you just need a "thick skin" but I put up with this kid for a whole school year already and I'm not going to just put up with it for another year.)
Before I do this though I wanted to ask if there is anything the school can do about stuff that occurred last year? I was hoping this guy would be gone from my life after 1 year but it didn't work out, so I never reported it. I also want to know if anyone else has gone through something similar and, if so, how did it work out?

Yeah i would. I would recommend getting your parents to speak with you (if you're underage) to prove the legitimacy and the seriousness of it. You'd probably get (or him) put into a different class

Yes report him. You seem to handled all the negativity well, don't let it get to you man. He will be in a lot of trouble as schools do not take these situations lightly.

Report him for bullying bro, he will definetly get suspended. It is not some small offense either.
