GoPro for Insta? - MintBreezy - Aug 2, 2018
Thinking about snagging a GoPro here soon -- I love the idea of recording different adventures and having a water-proof, durable device to do so. Only thing is I'm not that interested in editing and movie making. How is the quality for GoPro for snapshots and maybe just 5-10 second clips for Instagram?
Would pictures have to be screenshots from video footage or is there an option for that?
Any recommended attachments? Just starting my search now, so I'd love any and all feedback.

If it's just for insta a GoPro is fine. GoPro actually makes pretty good videos and pictures but it's pretty expensive. Insta scales the shit out of your pictures so don't worry too much about it.

Good to know. You stated the GoPro is pretty expensive, do you recommend any other cheaper option?

For good quality go for go pro. I heard some good things about the Yi camera from Xiaomi. Maybe check a comparison video and take what you think is worth it.

The new GoPro with 4k is great for videos, I'd recommend it if you have the budget for it!
