Quote:West Hollywood City Council has voted "unanimously" to approve a resolution urging Los Angeles City Council and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to permanently remove Donald Trump’s Walk of Fame star.
The star, which was unveiled in 2007, has been vandalized numerous times and completely destroyed twice. The most recent destruction came in late July when 24-year-old Austin Mikel Clay allegedly took a pickaxe to it. For his actions, he was booked on felony vandalism and jailed on $20,000 bail. He has since been released.
The council considered the removal of the star at a meeting on Monday evening. The agenda item read: "The City Council will consider adopting a resolution urging the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove President Donald J. Trump’s star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, due to his disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country".
Hollywood can't get rid of him in any real capacity, so this is what they're left with lol.
I hope they remove it even though it seems unlikely. it'll do trump more honor to no longer have his star located in a shithole

These news do nothing but to make everyone liking him. Disturbing treatment of women? I smell victimise in there. On the other hand i do also wonder why he got a tag in there, isn't it just for actors and such?

The star is for prominent figures in the entertainment industry, which Trump was also active in - he received his star because he was the host of The Apprentice

Uh, there's actually a board that has the final say in whether or not you can have a star after your application is sent in and if you don't have any accomplishments you're not even going to be put into consideration.

Donald's peak accomplishment in entertainment when he got his star was literally cameos in movies that lasted less than 30 seconds each. It's the fee he was willing to pay that got him his star.

Like it or not he earned his star for his involvement in being the executive producer for Miss Universe for nearly 15 years (not solely because of Apprentice like I thought before). The fee is standard for everyone.
