Moving Out Of My Hometown Worth It? Also Getting New Vehicles Vs Used - Niklas Kronwall - Aug 8, 2018

Part 1 - Moving Out

So I have lived in the same place for 22 years and I just started working in my field and I am making okay money (could be making more and full time at another company) but I like the place I am at right now for the time being, it pays the bills and gets me through the rest of my degree. Anyone have any advice for moving out of your hometown into a different city? I wouldn't be moving states because I am still in college but I am almost done with it. I can get closer to our biggest city (Detroit) and still be the same distance from where I am now. I have never lived on my own or with roommates so it's a really exciting and nerve wrecking adventure Id be going on.

Part 2 - Vehicles

I know there are a lot of car enthusiast on this forum so maybe some of you could help me and my dream car is an all black Camaro with a v8 and tinted windows/blacked out emblem. Id obviously be able to save a crap ton of money if I went used with something that had a small amount of miles on it like less than 45k but at the same time it would be really cool to have an updated vehicle as my current vehicle is a 2001 and I am not sure how much longer it is going to last before I have to replace some serious parts on it. It's under my fathers name but I drive it all the time and pay for my own gas so its sort of like I own it and I put some miles on it. How many of you buy used vehicles? Id be able to get in my favorite car (not my dream car) for paymetns of less than $300 but Id have to commit to financing on it. Seeking advice for this as well
