MyAnimeList fixes Forums; site is somewhat fully operational once more - DerMensch24 - Aug 8, 2018 Quote:Dear Users, Source You can view their sitemap here for further updates. This is just a general update for anyone that uses the anime database site MyAnimeList. To give perspective, the site went down roughly 2.5 months ago and only now is nearing full operations again. Hopefully something like this does not happen again, I do believe that other databases however have benefited greatly during this time so will be interesting to see what happens from hereon out. RE: MyAnimeList fixes Forums; site is somewhat fully operational once more - Deany - Aug 8, 2018 the forums are aids and full of low IQ people RE: MyAnimeList fixes Forums; site is somewhat fully operational once more - Lyralei - Aug 8, 2018 Almost lost my MAL account because of the issue they had, Good thing they added the account recovery tool since my old email wouldn't work anymore. RE: MyAnimeList fixes Forums; site is somewhat fully operational once more - tooomuch - Aug 8, 2018 im a casual anime watcher is this sight worth my time ? i usually just see it as to see a quick rating of the anime i dont really see any other point to it RE: MyAnimeList fixes Forums; site is somewhat fully operational once more - DerMensch24 - Aug 8, 2018 (Aug 8, 2018 07:29 PM)tooomuch Wrote: im a casual anime watcher is this sight worth my time ? i usually just see it as to see a quick rating of the anime i dont really see any other point to it Lately no I would try other sites such as Anime Planet, AniList, or Kitsu (formerly Hummingbird) since they have good track records for site uptime. However I do think MAL has the largest database on the web as far as I am aware, I'm still using it as of now since I had my account on there for a few years now but I have a backup account now on AP that I update every few weeks just in case. Choose your poison though ;) RE: MyAnimeList fixes Forums; site is somewhat fully operational once more - Decim - Aug 10, 2018 (Aug 8, 2018 07:29 PM)tooomuch Wrote: im a casual anime watcher is this sight worth my time ? i usually just see it as to see a quick rating of the anime i dont really see any other point to it I'd move on to better senses like hearing and taste if I were you. RE: MyAnimeList fixes Forums; site is somewhat fully operational once more - oneechan - Aug 14, 2018 I'm kinda stuck without my account now. Used a Lavabit (Remember Lavabit before it's current version?) email, never changed it and the last computer I used to log into my account is still in a box somewhere, which the rescue page requires. I remember even thinking "Maybe I should change my email." a while before MAL went down, but was too lazy. |
