The recent Netlix app update forces it to use Google's DNS servers, thereby overriding custom DNS servers defined at the router level.
This breaks services such as SmartDNSProxy, which I happen to be using to enable watching US Netflix from abroad. They do offer a solution for those having DD-WRT routers, but I don't happen to have one.
Is there a way to downgrade the Netflix app to the previous version, and then prevent it from auto-updating?
