I've seen videos of people changing their fortnite skins to rare skins that they don't have, how do they do it?

I just saw a video on this the other day. The user used HXD to edit the games files. It obviously only shows up for yourself, but not for other players.

In fact its sad but its not true.
Everyone can see it.
But epic recently started to ban people with modified/changed .pak files

There hasn't been a ban wave; one prominent leaker has been banned, that's it.
