Forgot password, brute forcing known characters - He B TeMy - Aug 26, 2018

Does someone know of a program that lets me do this:

Password lenght is between 8-14 characters, i know the first three letters exact, i know the rest of the password only uses "a,b,t,5,2,1", they may all be repeated and be lowercase or uppercase, no special characters in it, the file is a 7z file.

I know cracking a 14 password length password by itself isn't promising, but i know pratically all the words, i just tried every combination i could think off and i can't get it to open.
Is there a program that let's me narrow it down to a couple of characters and bruteforce using that knowledge?
I know there's cracking programs that let me specify a set of characters but i can't find one that let's me be that specific on the first three letters etc, i don't want to waste two months in this, i only want to waste maybe a day, two.

Why? lol, too much free time?

I'm currently searching with hashcat masking but my requirements seem so complex for it that i can't work out a solution.

this might help you
https://github.com/philsmd/7z2hashcat

once wit the hash all your Search complexity's can be arranged

if you un sure of how to use the tool ... and the data in question is not to sensitive ill be willing get the hash .... if you can get it on your own even better send the hash our way and we get to cracking it

If you know basic python programming or are good with google, you can use ziptools and make it crack with the first 3 letters + whatever it generates :D

I actually reckon CRUNCH would be more useful in this case. Slower but more effective
