Windows 7 Long Boot Process Problem - Boot Log Provided - RawrWitMe - Aug 4, 2010 Ok, so. When I start up my computer after it shows the windows logo with "Starting Windows" or "Loading Windows" (I forget.) I get a black screen for about a minute. I put on boot log and rebooted my computer. I looked at the log and, everything loaded correctly besides these. Did not load driver \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\vga.sys Did not load driver \SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\NDProxy.SYS Did not load driver \SystemRoot\System32\DRIVERS\srv.sys (Those wern't in that order, I just pulled the ones that had "Did not".) And ideas? I'm wondering what srv.sys and NDProxy.SYS is. I know what vga.sys is...I'm not that stupid. ;D. I just don't know how to fix it. I assume a corrupted driver but I don't know how to fix it. Thanks in advance. * - -mothered- - Aug 4, 2010 The NDProxy.sys Is a device driver for your network device. Can you boot Into Safe Mode at all? If so, hit a System Restore and see how you go from there. It seems like the aforementioned files are corrupted. * - Ice_Coolâ„¢ - Aug 6, 2010 i must agree vith Mothered ;)) |
