Deal Dispute TomCruise UID: 3445001 $100 BTC - mvmt - Sep 13, 2018

I paid him $100 BTC for the Galaxy Skin on Fortnite. I had the skin for about a day, then it got removed. He told me several times he was using his own family's devices, so I contacted EpicGames support to figure out the issue. They sent me a response stating that the skin can only be redeemed once per account, indicating that he redeemed the skin twice from his device or he was using demo devices in the store to run his service.
Told him about the situation and he has ignored me for about 2 weeks now. Even sent him PM's on HF which were ignored.

Sorry for your Loss Apparaenlty scammers are using and manipulating members with famous usernames on the forum..
Next time Use the Trust scan and check the username change History before dealing ..

Seems Valid. Same thing happened to me, luckily seller refunded. Hope he responds and sorts this out.

Tom only posted here because he thought it was about him. The other TomCruise has had the username since February.

The "in this scenario" is the important part. Though it wouldnt have helped OP I don't blame Tom C. for wanting to clarify that it wasnt him given that he used to have the username Tom Cruise. For a random person reading this deal dispute, Tom's advice might prevent TomCruise from scamming them.

How come you say checking the trust scan wont help you to catch scammers well as username changes ?

Are you that self-absorbed that you think this report is about someone impersonating you? You guys have 2 completely different usernames, I never thought it was you and checking a trust scan / username changes would not have done anything because this has nothing to do with you, he was not impersonating you.
