Pineapple v Raspberry pi - Davsas - Sep 18, 2018 Hi, First post. I’ve been looking but can’t really find an answer. What is the difference between a Pineapple and Raspberry pi, and if similar which is better to get? RE: Pineapple v Raspberry pi - Infamia - Sep 18, 2018 Pretty sure a Pineapple has completely different usage to a Raspberry Pi: A pineapple is a: Quote:WIRELESS AUDITING PLATFORM Whereas a Raspberry Pi is: Quote:A small and affordable computer that you can use to learn programming A wireless auditing platform would be used for monitoring networks, could be used for data analysis, interception, optimization etc., a RPi would be used moreso generally than the Pineapple, it could be, with extension, used as a makeshift Pineapple device; however it's more tended towards programming, home automation, commercial products and so forth. I have a raspberry pi and use it for hacking all the time. it works great and is really flexible RE: Pineapple v Raspberry pi - Sh0cka7 - Sep 20, 2018 I believe his question was to compare option 1- RaspberryPi+kali+Wireless USB Adapter against option 2- Pineapple I'm not the best person to answer but from what I gathered the option 1 seems better simply because it has more uses and will be upgraded more often in the future But if you want an out-of-the-box easy solution Pineapple is that solution (for now) |
