Snaware - Jаkе - Oct 23, 2018 Hello, I'd like to not have to reinstall windows onto my computer. If someone could help me that'd be greatly appreciated. http://l.snaware.com/l/1324288188/1047 http://www.snaware.com/products/facebookposterandscheduler Every few minutes or so this pops up in chrome. I only use chrome, so I don't know if it happens in other browsers. I've tried malwarebytes, roguekiller, junkware removal tool, hitman pro, adwcleaner. I tried to reinstall chrome to see if that'd do the trick, nope. I don't think I see anything installed recently that shouldn't have been installed. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. RE: Snaware - Bastille - Oct 24, 2018 Hello there ! Can you check about which extensions are installed on your Chrome ? Type : chrome://extensions in the search bar of Chrome RE: Snaware - Jаkе - Oct 24, 2018 (Oct 24, 2018 04:45 AM)Yseurk Wrote: Hello there ! No extensions are installed. Like I said, I reinstalled chrome. Just the default ones that come with it. RE: Snaware - Bastille - Oct 24, 2018 Sorry, didn't see. What about if you use something like Adblock ? RE: Snaware - Jаkе - Oct 24, 2018 (Oct 24, 2018 05:22 AM)Yseurk Wrote: Sorry, didn't see. It'd still pop open the tab, just saying the elements are blocked or whatever. Anytime I'm in another program, a chrome tab popups every few minutes taking me away from what I am doing. RE: Snaware - Xplainettt - Oct 24, 2018 It sounds like you have a URL redirector malware. This may happen in IE or other browsers too. These can be some of the trickiest because they're not massively implemented, thus they don't register in AV definitions. It sounds like yours was custom scripted to redirect to a certain page or set of pages every so often. Start by clearing temp, remove chrome again and delete roaming profile ( or local? I forget.. ) I deal with pc maintenance for a living and sad to say most these situations are easier resolved with Windows reload. |
