Selling Awards to the House and being able to trade some awards - Cryptic™ - Nov 6, 2018

I'm posting that idea here because it's taking over that thread.
This suggestion is not for HF making a new award that can only be purchased via bytes.
What I'm suggesting is
- A feature that lets users return their award back to HF (aka deleting it) in exchange for bytes at a low rate. Yes I said low rate. Why? see point #2
- A feature that lets users TRANSFER/SELL their awards to another user FOR BYTES. A transfer fee (in bytes) will also be paid to the house.
It's like buying a car. You can either sell your used car privately with a lot of hassle for $10,000 or sell it to the dealership for a quick and easy $2000. Dealerships will always low ball you.
Not all awards should be able to be transferred/sold to user users because some awards granted only to specific users for something they've done/accomplished (MOTM/Sticky Award/WHH/Diamond etc)
All other awards that are less significant such as Sushi/Taco/Genius/Drunk/Clovers/Dicey and purchasable awards should be tradable.
But all Awards (Except the UB3R award because it indicates the user is a UB3R?) should be able to be sold back to the house for credits at a low rate.
Reasons why this would be useful:
- There have been people in the past that have asked Omni to remove their awards. Although it's not that common, it still works.
- The more non-tradable awards that get sold to the house, the more valuable they become as there is less in circulation.
- Some people may not want an award anymore and they'd prefer to have bytes or the ability to sell it.
- I don't see how it would hurt the economy. Being able to transfer awards would be neat. Bytes changing more hands.
- Maybe the ability to rent an award from someone in the future? lol
Just another usecase for utilizing bytes
