Deny purchased signatures or buy back option. - Crypt - Nov 25, 2018

What if someone purchases your signature and adds something to your signature you simply don't like or support? I think there should be some type of deny option or perhaps an option to pay back the bytes to regain control of your signature.

I haven't run into this issue yet but I can see it happening. Thoughts on this?

People can put whatever they want in the signature, so if that worries you, you may want to opt-out of the Signature Market.

No, I think they should add some more control where you can buy back your signature but perhaps have to pay a 5% interest fee maybe.

Why post your signature for sale if you're just going to buy it back for a premium? The point of the Signature Market is that once someone buys your signature, it is a blank canvas for them... as long as they abide by site rules.

I suppose so.

Many members don't support e-whoring but it's not against the rules.  I sure as shit wouldn't want some E-whore advertisement as my signature for a week.  In cases like that, I think there should be an option to regain control of your signature.

Anyways, I stated my reasoning and we'll have to see what Omni says.

That's when you make your usertitle "Paid Signature, not a sponsor."

If only there was a "buy back" option.

If the signature is following the site policy then you should not worry anything.

Or you could just ask the buyer to change the signature and return the Bytes.

I could support this for obvious reasons. Because I'm a good sport about it I'm following through with it, but honestly I believe what my purchased sig space currently is could very easily count as abuse of the system. I had to disable to my PMs as a result.

I like your signature.

A pretty simple solution here. If they agree.

Yeah mutual understanding is must in this case.

Unless the signature violates policy it will not be removed.
