I am learning and would like to know what is the best setup to start with to stay anonymous and secure online?
I know VPN is required and the provider will be important. I would like to be able to use a browser that works with most websites. I have a small amount of knowledge about linux. I have used Windows and i know that is not a great idea. What would be the best solution to setup something so that there is no data stored on the system I use? I know of TAILS but that doesn't have VPN or a browser that will work with most sites.
Would running an OS on a USB keep the data off of the system I run the USB from? What OS would be a good choice or would a live cd or possibly virtual machine work better?
I want to be able to make sure no data is kept on the system or able to be recovered.

Tails might not have a buildt-in VPN but it does have tor.

stay anonymous and secure online? firstly start with localhost :D
play on your local area .. make sure no eyes on your track .
if u r done with local and got access >> go with 2 or 3 tunneling+proxy 4 youp browser or app , ..
simple!

Thanks I am confused about the play on my local area? what services do you suggest for tunneling + proxy?
