Need some advice on growing my account from 2k followers - Gooked - Nov 28, 2018
So I’ve been running an meme page for a while. Currently at 2k followers (about 1k are botted). I’ve been doing the simple following people in order to get follow backs for a while now and currently getting around 50 followers a day from that, as well as around 80-100 likes on photos. so things aren’t off to a bad start in my eyes. However I plan to start unfollowing people after a few thousand follow me back, so I won’t be at 5000 followers with 10k following, which would obviously lose me a lot of followers by unfollowing them. is there any alternative routes I should take? Are engagement groups and hashtags really that effective in growing? Any advice would be extremely helpful

When I started IG few months ago (started with a meme account), I started growing it by doing a "maze". I'm sure you've seen people commenting on multiple posts and they all have that @dont.read.my.bio handle. That gained me 500-1000 daily, 1-2hr of work. SFS is good, megas are good if you can find a way to join into them.
Meme niche in general is a pretty damn hard to grow HQ.
Depends on what your goals are, but I would recommend you starting up a theme page. Easier to grow and more unique.
