Normally I advocate for keeping systems up to date, but this is one exception. Win32 programs are broken by the update in weird ways. Noticeably, the media keys on my keyboard no longer work in any program after Windows Media Player has been launched. Plenty of other weird glitches as well.
Have a read through the KB article and wait until December for the patch to these issues.

i feel like windows updates are always fucking my shit up
not even too long ago windows updated without me realizing and made my tablet completely unuseable
