I work in the energy industry, production and distribution of electricity. Therefore i push once, to push more than once is useless.

Smashing it obviously makes it to my floor faster... Just like turning a controller in a racing game helps steering !

Are we talking about when you are waiting for the elevator to come down to pick you up? or when you are in the elevator and the door closes?

Here's a tip for some off you that use elevators a lot:
Quote:The Hacks. If you want to bypass floors that have been selected by other passengers in the elevator: hold your floor button down, and then press the 'door close' button at the same time. The elevator should go straight to your floor, bypassing all the other requested stops.

No I don't. I push it only once. Also I don't believe it makes it faster, though.

I smash it really hard, just so I know I made the correct choice.

Sometimes, the light might be broken and I'm just double checking. One time the button was broken though... I pushed it a good 10 times and nothing came for 10 minutes, just took the stairs down

I used to but now that I’m a mature human being I get triggered when I see people doing it and I feel the need to explain to them why they shouldn’t cause it’s useless.

I push it once with my elbow, I don't wanna touch that dirty button.
