Cortana - Solved - F11 - Dec 2, 2018

Update: I have WIndows 10 Pro & disabled Cortana in GPEDIT.MSC but it still keeps running and uses resources.

Used the tool moveonboot or something to change Cortana folder name on reboot and that did the trick.
No searchui or cortana processes at all now.

I attempted to rename cortana folder but when I try ending it in task manager to rename folder, it restarts too quickly.

Any help?

That let's you add Group Policy Editor to Windows 10 Home.

Does that solve your issue?

Actually I'd just gotten a free pro key so I have pro now. I used gpedit to disable Cortana, but still no luck. It still uses the same amount of memory as before.

All I did was boot into safe mode, locate the Cortana a app folder, kill Cortana process. Rename Cortana folder. Just add a letter or something so you know what it is later on.
