Need Help Hacking a Printer - Skybih - Dec 4, 2018 Hi everyone, So i have a Bizhub 364a Konika Minolta Printer and it is connected to my big network, is there anyway i can acess this printer and see files that are being sent to it or being printed out ? I can use raspberry pi or make a LAN Turtle, my question is how to exstract data from printer ? RE: Need Help Hacking a Printer - sh4moon - Dec 4, 2018 do a portscan (if you don't know what that is I'll explain) of the printer. see what ports are open and there may be telnet or ftp open. there may be a password but it'll probably be default. if there's not one of those available then you could look for a rce or information disclosure. RE: Need Help Hacking a Printer - [BLANK] - Dec 4, 2018 Here is a list of default passwords for Konika Minolta printers: https://www.clnet-solution.my/knowledgebase/konica-minolta-default-password/ You would be surprised how many companies never change the default credentials for printers. Also you could look into using https://github.com/RUB-NDS/PRET for printer exploitation. Don't do anything illegal though, it is not worth the jail time. RE: Need Help Hacking a Printer - Skybih - Dec 5, 2018 Thank you guys so much for the replies i have full acess to all the printers and all the passwords,i work in a facility as a volunteer/ IT Tehnician. I will try with the port scan, im trying to figure out how to make a small managed switch between the network printers UTP cable connection and the UTP wall socket and create a SPAN port. Also i will try Printer Exploitation Toolkit and see what i can get. I need a stealth way to extract data from printer network, make it work and stay hidden for a long time. |
