Actually it may not be that stupid. Because if he has the majority of the "special" awards which only can be obtained by special occasions. Well then he has the market, and he set's the prices.

I'm sure some people have bought cheap and sold for more but as for buying and selling in the award market that 20% will really hit the profit.

It's definitely possible to make profits, I received offers of various prices which allowed a margin of profits
And limited awards will be worth more in the future
