Can someone please help me setup this theme I downloaded. I install it and its nothing like the demo, I keep encountering issues such as style.css not found when I try to install the complete .zip file after converting from .rar

what is the name of the theme? where did you buy it? is it compatible with your version of wordpress?

I had the latest wordpress 5.0 update. I have just reset my whole cpanel and was going to install in freshly again. If you could help me it would be so much appreciated.

I sell software on codecanyon and do support for my software. I am sure they they will help you, did you try their support?
what errors are you getting? what does it say in the error logs?

You have the answer by yourself.
You're on WP5.0, your theme isn't compatible.
Maybe it is and you screwed up the installation, but probably just the Wp5.0

It is not looking like the demo website because you need to import the demo content of the website, otherwise it adjust itself to the latest WordPress owned theme (Twenty Nineteen).
And good thing is that your theme comes with one click demo import, Let me know If you still have difficulty to do it.
