Downloading File From Dropbox Makes It Corrupted And Unusable | VB.NET - TerminallyIll - Dec 15, 2018

Trying to download an executable from Dropbox, but I when I fetch and try to run the file it says it is corrupted.
Here's what I use to fetch the file
Dim xHttp: Set xHttp = CreateObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP")
Dim bStrm: Set bStrm = CreateObject("Adodb.Stream")
xHttp.Open "GET", "dropbox.com/s/xdlv1k61qcsvqzp/test.exe?dl=1, False"
xHttp.Send

Any help?

Better you use a normal webhost to download, but,
i think i have the same problem xD
I will download 9hits viewer and run it on my botnet but my problem is the Tray icon in windows.

Any Ideas how i can Hide it?

Dropbox doesn't allow direct link download, use https://uploadexe.com/

Also unless you're using https and everything is encrypted, I'd suggest just storing it locally in the executable.

I reckon this can actually still be done, but why are you using VB6? VB6 will not handle SSL versions less than SSLV2 unless someone has created a new activeX library with SSL3 support etc since my days using VB6.
