{smartassembly} is a very basic Obfuscator.

Just google .net obfuscators. You will find some.

If you want to protect your source code from intellectual property theft, use an obfuscator. You can find them on the internet easily by just typing into google ".NET Obfuscator".

If you want to remove detections from your application, use a crypter. You can probably find them here on HackForums yourself when using the search function with the term "crypter".

Please, for the love of god, don't use an obfuscator to remove detections.

Be sure to check that the Obfuscator you are using is not supported by De4Dot: https://github.com/0xd4d/de4dot

I suggest https://netguard.io/

Paid but also probably one of the simplest ones to reverse based on my experience. Even for open source free tools.

what do you means by saying don't use an obfuscator to remove detections.

It should be obvious that obfuscators make normal looking code a bit more "concerning" for lack of a better term. What do you think a virus scanner will think when looking at code that looks a bit more unfamiliar?
