BlackMediaGames (devs) stated your passwords are hashed. However, it's being discussed that they're not hashed securely. They use an old version of phpbb which uses salted MD5 and not the latest method, bcrypt. https://www.reddit.com/r/TownofSalemgame/comments/abqnf9/blankmediagames_critical_data_breach/ed2cn7h/
If you do have an account on there with a recycled password, go change your passwords elsewhere. Always use a unique password, never reuse the same password.
Included in the breach:
- Usernames
- Emails
- Passwords
- IP Addresses
- Game and Forum Activity

Ouch. Recycled passwords should always be changed regardless. I'm sure it will be a wakeup to many.

Anyone find where the DB is leaked at? Or being sold?
Or do you think the culprit(s) are going to sit on it for a while?

Litteraly every majour leak has been sold or just shared online.
There is no way those guys aren't gonna release it. The price will only lower the longer it takes.
I have some interest as well.

Its not leaked, and its currently not on sale. 🤝
