Change a service name in Linux. - hack3rcon - Jan 5, 2019 Hello. Can I change "OpenSSH" service name to other something "FTP"? If I download the source code then which part must be edited? Thank you. The name of the init.d script is what determines the service daemon name. Most configurations use systemd configurations.
